I'm currently writing a short story about submarines, though nothing about or like USS Piper. More a successful USS Tang-like tale of avoiding (successfully this time) one's own errant torpedo. But I do use some of the officer personalities from the Piper.

Comments: I recently set up a web site for SS346 which was a boat I spent several years on. I was only on Piper for a few months in '67 but if anyone wants me to set up a site similar to ours (www.ss346.com), I'll be glad to consider it.

All I would need would be the crew list, boat photos, crew photos, etc.

The site would look very similar to SS346.com because it is an easy format to set up, maintain and load up over a phone connection.
