Comments: hi all,just found site and my mother came from ushaw moor so i was wondering if any one knows of any of my relations still about my mothers maiden name was Tilley her sisters married name Rixon both my grand parents buried in cemetary, flowers were on grave last time i visited so i beleve some one is there who may know,regards j

Comments: Just to let you know that, sadly, the recipient of the first baptism at Ushaw Moor, Eileen Veronica Illand, passed away on Monday 18th June, in Leeds. As her son, I used to listen to her stories of the area and visited when I could.
